Lena Zak

Lena Zak is a Slovak interdisciplinary artist who creates bold works in painting and writing using Abstract Expressionist-inspired strategies. She explores emotions and contradictions in search of personal freedom and balance through gestural, expressive compositions.

Her work is driven by inner emotional landscapes and the search for equilibrium. Her canvases channel raw feeling through bold color and dynamic gesture, inviting the viewer into a space of personal reflection and emotional resonance.

Lena Zak has exhibited in several European capitals including Lisbon, London, Athens, Prague, and Malmö. Her paintings are held in private collections across Europe, New York, and Los Angeles. She is currently an artist in residence at Duplex AIR in Lisbon.
